A former attribution to Amiconi has been discarded. Now thought that it is possibly by Andrea Celesti (1637-1712), a minor artist active at the turn of the century.

SUBJECT:
A female saint awaits the sword which will bring her a martyr’s death. Above her head an angel awaits.
